MOPPETS
MOPPETS is the children’s program that is run during the meeting where loving care with a preschool-like focus is provided. Children will participate in developmentally appropriate activities, free-play, snacks and faith-based lessons as appropriate for each age group. The MOPPETS program provides a loving learning experience for children.
A mom needs assurance about her child’s well being and happiness before she can get the most of her time in MOPS. The MOPPETS Team strives to provide this assurance. MOPPETS teachers and assistants understand what is involved in competent childcare and are able to communicate well with children, peers, and older adults. The MOPPETS Teachers work with the Steering Team to establish the policies and procedures of the MOPPETS program. They recruit and encourage MOPPETS workers, select appropriate curriculum materials and develop programs and lessons for each class.
